A Message from James D. Rogers, CPA to Clients Served While at Thomas, Watson & Company, LLC

To clients I served during my time at Thomas, Watson & Company, LLC and Henderson & Associates, CPAs:

I hope that this message finds you well. I apologize for not being able to give you notice of my exit from my former employer, and any distress this may have caused you. Giving you notice of my intentions to start my own firm would have been a breach of my duty to be loyal to my former employer and would have been unethical. Additionally, I cannot initiate contact with you now as I would be in violation of the South Carolina Trade Secrets Act (
SC Code of Laws §(803) 348-4150), which extends to client lists.

As you are now reading this message, it means that you have sought me out and I hope that it means you are interested in my continuance as your trusted advisor; I would like nothing more.

If you engage my firm, I can assure you will recieve the same attentive, thoughtful service that you have come to expect from me over our years together, with the added benefit of flexibility to meet your needs. If you choose otherwise, please know that I value the time I have worked with you and I wish you the best.

If you have questions for me, I can be reached at (803) 348-4150 or you can email me at james.rogers@rogerscpafirm.com.
